Tax on ₹11 lakh salary: the short answer

In the new regime, a salary of ₹11,00,000 pays ₹0 in income tax for Tax Year 2026-27 (FY 2026-27), including 4% cess. That is ₹0 a month. The ₹60,000 rebate wipes out the tax entirely, because taxable income after the ₹75,000 standard deduction is ₹12 lakh or less.
